December…

The Christmas month🎄, the month before New Year’s🎆, the last month of the year🕚… 2018 was one of those years that passed by without giving me the time to realize and towards the end of the semester, all I could really ask for is a pause button for me to stop and take it all in.

Decemeber goes hand in hand with Christmas markets – my friends and I visited the Offenburg, Freiburg, Esslingen and Gengenbach markets this year. 🎅🏻

Christmas market

The Esslingen Christmas market was quite crowded, and here and there you could see people dressed in medieval costumes passing through.

We also took a 2 hr bus ride to Stuttgart this month to visit the Mercedes-Benz Museum which surprisingly didn’t turn out to be as attractive as its poster was, and could easily be toured in an hour. Or maybe I’m just not an vehicle person. Nevertheless there was an interesting and glamorous display of 160 vehicles over 125 years of automobile history.

And then of course December had its get-togethers and delicious home made food – which I love so much❤️
